‘We used the Scout 70 RAl probes to image supported lipid bilayers with a MFP3D-Bio in intermittent-contact mode in HEPES buffer. We were impressed by the good quality of the images. The Scout 70 RAl probes proved their capability to image thin and soft samples in liquid and could reveal the structural details of lipid bilayers with high precision. At the same time, the NuNano team provided a great customer service and fast delivery. Good job! We are looking forward to exploring more NuNano probes in the future!’
— Rebecca Schlatterer and Dr. Bizan N. Balzer, University of Freiburg
‘The SCOUT probes have been going great, still collecting data on tooth samples as well as some extracellular vesicles. So far they have been very reliable and given us great images - both great qualities for AFM tips!‘
— Dr. Sebastian Aguayo, Universidad Católica de Chile
‘I’m impressed not only by the resolution (which is great), but just as importantly by the consistency of the resolution. We get images like this every time! (At least when the tip is fresh - of course the tips degrade with use). That saves us from the frustration we were used to with our previous supplier of having to try out a few tips to get a really good one.‘
— Prof. Walter Smith, Haverford College
‘The SCOUT 350 RAl probes produced very stable QNM modulus images during electrochemical processes.’
— Dr Zhenyu Zhang, UCL
‘We have found NuNano probes to be reliable and robust. They produced great images and the customer service was exceptionally good.’
— Prof. Jamie Hobbs, University of Sheffield
‘I was very impressed with the NuNano probes [I was] sent to try. The images I got with them were clearer than any I got before and I also felt that these probes were more robust than any I’ve used before.’
— Éadaoin Timmins, NUI Galway
‘I found the SCOUT 350 tips to be very stable throughout imaging and it was much easier to set up “good” imaging parameters with these tips compared to tips from other suppliers. I will definitely recommend these to AFMers.’
— Fouzia Bano, University of Leeds
‘In my opinion, the cantilever design is really good. It is small and easy to locate the tip position. I think it is useful when you have small crystals. For a big crystal, it should also make the scanning process easier.’
— Fajar Pambudi, University of Manchester
‘I was very pleased with my experience using NuNano’s SCOUT probes. They performed as I had hoped and anticipated, given their quoted parameters, making image acquisition straightforward in both tapping and quantitative nanomechanical mapping modes on hard oxides.’
— Dr Mark Buckwell, University College London
‘I used NuNano’s SCOUT 350R probes to image isocytosine molecular tubes and was able to see small structures that were not resolved in tapping mode before.’
— Dr Arturas Ulcinas, Centre for Physical Sciences & Technology, Vilnius
‘NuNano’s silicon AFM probes have remarkably consistent resonant frequencies and driving amplitude. This gives me confidence that I’ll acquire high quality images every time I use them.’
— Dr Vladimir Korolkov, University of Nottingham
‘NuNano were extremely good at listening to my requirements, helping me understand the benefits of their probes and very speedy in delivering some great tapping mode cantilevers. I will be using them from now on.’
— Dr Loren Picco, University of Bristol
‘In general the SCOUT probes give more reliable high resolution than other suppliers, which often have a dud or two from every box, hence why I recommend them.’
— Dr James Thomas, University of Oxford
‘It was a nice experience to purchase the AFM probes from Nu Nano Ltd, as the customer service is helpful and rapid.’
— Eric Yiu, Hong Kong Baptist University
‘I ordered two kinds of tapping mode AFM probes (SCOUT 350 T and HAR). The delivery is very fast. The probes work quite well on the MultiMode AFM in my lab and help me collect some significant data which already published on the APL journal. Looking forward to more cooperation!’
— Rui Zhang, University of Edinburgh

‘We are currently studying perovskite films with our vacuum AFM. The tips do a much better job than our current provider. Feedback on the rather rough surfaces is much more responsive, presumably due to the higher resonance frequency. We are, in fact, quite satisfied with your tips.
I also tried your tips with great success on different types of thin film samples both in two-pass FM-KPFM as well as normal tapping mode AM-AFM. My own measurements concerned with organic semiconducting films on electrode microarrays are about to start and I will employ your Pt coated symmetrical tips to enhance the reliability of the measured datasets.’
— Pascal Schweizer, Justus Liebig University Giessen
‘NuNano made the whole process easy, working with one of their consultants I was able to find the right type of probe and get it ordered quickly and conveniently. The probes themselves have been impeccable; they were affordable, high quality and the data they have produced have convinced us to make NuNano our regular supplier.’
— Steve Gibney, University of Nottingham

‘We have tested the new NuNano SENSE 70 tips for the imaging of 2D protein arrays in aqueous environments. The performance of these tips is outstanding. We can get sub-nm resolution images routinely!’
— Dr. Peng Bao & Kyle Phillips, University of Liverpool
